KUCHING: Tegas Digital Innovation Hub (TDIH) was launched today by the Chief Minister of Sarawak at iCOM Square Pending.
The hub will serve as a platform to nurture talents, support entrepreneurs and create innovators for Sarawak. CM Abang Jo called upon young Sarawakians to make good use of this hub to move the state forward in innovation and creativity.
He said, this is a step forward towards digital economy while waiting for the state’s proposed Digital Village at Samajaya to be ready by 2020.
CM Abang Jo wants young Sarawakians to have dedication and passions for innovation and they could also play a role to help leapfrog Sarawak’s present development stage from technology revolution 2.0 to 4.0. which is by embracing the new technology of artificial intelligence.
He added , “Many Sarawakians are successful overseas such as in Singapore, Australia and Canada. They are not here because we don’t have that system in Kuching, Once Sarawak thrives in digital economy later, successful Sarawakians would consider returning to the state.”
